Led by a qualified Manager, the staff at Nightingale House work as a team committed to the Halcyon Care philosophy. Every effort is made to provide individual care which promotes privacy and dignity and to meet each resident’s needs and preferences based on prior conversations with you and your family as well as regular monitoring and assistance. The Manager is supported by a Deputy Manager, team leaders and care staff. Senior staff are on duty throughout the day and night. Choices include:

Following a philosophy of compassion

In every care home, Halcyon Care’s staff consists of highly qualified individuals who are committed to treating residents with dignity and respect. We even have our own catering team who create meals from the freshest of ingredients. Meals are served in the dining room and can be taken into personal rooms. Individual diets are also catered for and residents are encouraged to stay active.

Nightingale House is a single storey, detached property in the centre of the quiet village of Bucknall, surrounded by an acre of landscaped grounds with views of the rolling countryside. Not only does this make it a gorgeous spot to live in but also allows for residents to remain engaged in local life. The home is very involved in community life and visitors are welcome at any time. The home itself caters for up to 45 individuals, including six beds for residents with physical disabilities (aged 50 year and above). With options of long and short term care available as well as day care.
